Hanna Glatzer left pre-law studies to follow her winemaking passion at Germany's esteemed Geisenheim school, now crafting playful natural wines from her family's certified organic Carnuntum vineyards just south of Vienna with help from younger brother Mattias—continuing the legacy of father Walter Glatzer's acclaimed estate on diverse soils in this historic Austrian wine region. This Pinot Noir undergoes 100% whole-bunch fermentation with two-week maceration in stainless steel, light pumping over, and aging in very old French oak with minimal sulfur additions—producing brilliant ruby-red wine with notes of wild strawberry, rose petal, and tomato skin. The palate echoes these flavors with light structure and mouthwatering bright acidity, best served with a slight chill.
