Côtes du Rhône runs wide across the southern Rhône Valley, but Guillaume Gonnet works a specific corner of it — north-facing terraces where light clay and sandy soils host 40- to 45-year-old vines planted at 4,000 per hectare. The 2023 Le Rêveur blends 80% Grenache with 20% Syrah, fully destemmed and fermented 15–20 days with natural yeast in concrete tanks, then aged 12 months in the same vessels. Crème de cassis, cherry, licorice, and black pepper carry the palate, with Asian spice on the finish.
