GRGICH HILLS MERLOT 2018

Blending fruit from two climate zones defines this Napa Merlot: cooler southern vineyards near San Francisco Bay provide structure and freshness, while a small addition from warmer upper Napa sites adds body and roundness. Grgich Hills Estate, certified biodynamic, grows all grapes on its own properties without synthetic inputs. Founded in 1977 by Miljenko Mike Grgich following his landmark role in the 1976 Paris Tasting, the estate now runs under his family. Expect dark cherry, plum, and dried herb on the palate with a smooth, medium-weight finish.
