Limestone-filtered spring water drawn from the Gensac-la-Pallue source in the Cognac region defines the base of Grey Goose — soft, naturally pure water that the brand's founders chose specifically for its mineral character. That water is blended with single-origin winter wheat grown in the Picardie region of northern France, known for its fertile, clay-rich plains. The wheat is milled and distilled in column stills at a dedicated facility in Picardie, then the spirit is transported south for blending with the spring water. The result is clean and lightly textured, with faint almond, a soft grain sweetness, and a smooth, neutral finish.
