GOLAN HEIGHTS WINERY YARDEN CHARDONNAY 2024

Established in 1983 by eight kibbutzim and moshavim, Golan Heights Winery sources this flagship Yarden Chardonnay from the northernmost Golan Heights at 3,900 feet elevation, where rocky volcanic soils and extreme Mediterranean temperature swings produce concentrated fruit with natural acidity. Head winemaker Victor Schoenfeld (since 1992) barrel ferments and ages the 2024 for seven months with partial malolactic fermentation, bottled kosher for Passover (non-mevushal) with crisp apple, citrus, subtle stone fruit, and mineral tension reflecting the high-altitude volcanic terroir of Israel's premier wine region.
