GEORGE T. STAGG KENTUCKY STRAIGHT BOURBON WHISKEY

Buffalo Trace Distillery has produced George T. Stagg since 2002 as part of their limited Antique Collection, named after the 19th-century distiller who built what became Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, Kentucky. This 2025 release spent at least 15 years aging in Kentucky's humid continental climate—with temperature swings between 20°F winters and 90°F summers—which drives deep barrel interaction in rickhouses built from original 1800s timber. Bottled uncut and unfiltered at 142.8 proof from Mash Bill #1 (less than 10% rye), it delivers toffee, dark chocolate, and vanilla upfront, followed by dried dates, tobacco leaf, blackberry, spearmint, and espresso notes that build with Kentucky's signature barrel char influence.
