Theresa Breuer leads this 30-hectare Rheingau estate—founded in 1880 and shaped by her father Bernhard, a driving force behind the Charta movement for dry German wines—with cellar master Markus Lundén overseeing production. The organically farmed, Fair'n Green-certified vineyards span Rüdesheim and Rauenthal, planted on gravel, clay, slate, and quartzite soils along the Rhine's steep north-bank slopes. This Spätburgunder trocken is hand-harvested, gently macerated, and fermented in steel and large used oak with no malolactic fermentation, yielding bright sour cherry and forest berry aromas, subtle smoke, and a spiced, elegant finish with soft tannins.
