Bitter aperitivos lean heavily on synthetic coloring and industrially processed botanicals — Forthave RED does neither. Built on organic, non-GMO Brazilian sugarcane spirit, it draws bitterness from gentian and mugwort across 13 USDA certified organic botanicals, with chamomile, bitter orange, and rose macerated or pot-distilled separately to preserve their aromatics. Natural color comes from black carrot and hibiscus; sweetness from organic turbinado sugar. The result hits rhubarb, pomegranate, and fresh orange peel on the nose, with grapefruit and candied strawberry on the palate and a clean, gentle bitter finish.
