100% New York-grown corn provides the neutral spirit base here, distilled at Fort Hamilton's Industry City, Brooklyn facility using a Vendome hybrid copper pot still. Master distiller Alex Clark cracks and macerates juniper before vapor distillation alongside ten additional botanicals, then individually distills watermelon, cucumber, and citrus zests before blending and resting the final spirit two weeks prior to bottling. The botanical choice nods to the 1776 Battle of Brooklyn, which began in a nearby watermelon patch. Bottled at 40% ABV without chill filtration and certified Orthodox Union Kosher, it delivers cucumber, spicy juniper, ripe watermelon, grapefruit, green cardamom, and a lime zest finish.
