FORT HAMILTON DOUBLE BARREL BOURBON WHISKEY

When Alex Clark set out in 2016 to revive pre-Prohibition Northeast whiskey traditions, he planted Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn's Industry City and built a dual-source blending model unlike most craft operations. This Double Barrel Bourbon marries two straight bourbons: a high-rye New York-grown grain distillate from Taconic Distillery in Stanfordville, and an MGP-sourced Indiana whiskey, each aged a minimum three years in 53-gallon char level 3 barrels. Never chill-filtered and Kosher certified, it delivers cacao, cardamom, and apricot-studded chocolate on the nose, with green peppercorn, caramel corn, and orange zest on the palate.
