Small-batch blending by David Hallgarten — hand-selecting individual casks from Highland and Speyside distilleries — is the core production decision that shapes Fior. Drawing from two of Scotland's most distinct whisky regions, the blend combines the richer, more robust character of the Highlands with the typically lighter, fruit-forward profile of Speyside. The mash runs at a notably high malt-to-grain ratio. In the glass, expect vanilla, oak, and chocolate on the palate, with soft spices and a finish that carries salted almonds and a background note of campfire smoke.
