EMMOLO SAUVIGNON BLANC 2024

Jenny Wagner traces her winemaking lineage to both Caymus Vineyards (founded by her father Chuck Wagner in 1972) and a Sicilian rootstock-farming heritage dating to 1923. Her Emmolo Sauvignon Blanc sources from family-farmed vineyards across Napa and Suisun Valley, where light gravelly soils and maritime influence enable early harvesting that locks in firm acidity. A brush-thinning technique removes over half the grapes per cluster, concentrating the remaining fruit. White peach, clementine, lemon blossom, and wet stone define the nose; the palate runs sleek and mineral with honeydew, finishing bright and crisp.
