EMMOLO SAUVIGNON BLANC 2024

Winemaker Jenny Wagner draws on five generations of Napa Valley farming—her maternal Emmolo relatives arrived from Sicily in 1923 and established a rootstock nursery in Rutherford that supplied the region's growers for decades, while her father Chuck Wagner co-founded Caymus Vineyards in 1972. Grapes are sourced from Napa Valley family vineyards alongside fruit from Suisun Valley, where a maritime climate with warm days and cool nights is ideal for Sauvignon Blanc. Vineyard techniques manage sun exposure to eliminate herbaceous character while achieving precise ripeness, delivering white peach, wet stone, and clementine on the nose with lemon blossom and peach on the crisp, minerally palate.
