Mediterranean warmth by day meets cool Dolomite winds by night, building the tension that makes this light red worth attention. Elena Walch, a fifth-generation family estate in Tramin, hand-picks the fruit and farms with care throughout the appellation. The wine ferments in stainless steel with six days on the skins, then rests in large oak casks, preserving Schiava's delicate structure — soft acidity, light tannin. It pours bright ruby and delivers red cherry, cranberry, and wild strawberry, closing on the signature bitter-almond finish that sets it apart from every other light red on the shelf. Serve lightly chilled, 16–18°C.
