EISELE CABERNET SAUVIGNON ESTATE 2018

A single volcanic bench at the north end of the Napa Valley's Calistoga AVA, the Eisele Vineyard sits on alluvial fan deposits over iron-rich, rocky soil that drains aggressively and stresses vines into concentrated fruit. The site has produced distinctive Cabernet Sauvignon since the 1970s; Bart and Daphne Araujo farmed it organically before Château Latour acquired the property in 2013 and deepened the commitment to minimal-intervention viticulture. The 2018 is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, delivering dark chocolate, cassis, and Morello cherry with firm, grainy tannins and a long, perfumed finish.
