EGLY-OURIET CHAMPAGNE ROSE EXTRA BRUT GRAND CRU NV

Francis Egly's organically farmed Grand Cru Rosé blends Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Ambonnay's chalk-driven Montagne de Reims, with a small addition of still red wine from plots adjacent to the famed Ambonnay Rouge. Fermented in oak, aged a minimum of 52 months on the lees, and bottled at 2g/L dosage unfined and unfiltered, the wine delivers raspberry, tangerine peel, and toasted almond on the nose, with a full, vinous palate of red cherry, chalk minerality, orange blossom, and a long, sapid finish.
