EGLY-OURIET CHAMPAGNE EXTRA BRUT GRAND CRU NV

Drawn from Grand Cru vineyards across Ambonnay, Bouzy, and Verzenay, this organically farmed flagship blend anchors 90% of its fruit in Ambonnay, the Montagne de Reims village Francis Egly's family has cultivated for four generations. The 2019, 2018, and 2017 vintages are co-fermented with indigenous yeasts in barrel (10% new), without malolactic fermentation, and aged 48 months on the lees before disgorgement at 2g/L, unfined and unfiltered. Baked apple, crushed citrus, toasted brioche, and pear on the nose; full-bodied and layered on the palate with chalky minerality, bright acidity, and a long, saline finish.
