EGLY-OURIET CHAMPAGNE EXTRA BRUT GRAND CRU MILLESIME 2015

From old-vine Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the Grand Cru village of Ambonnay, this 2015 vintage Champagne spent 96 months on the lees before disgorgement in October 2024—among the longest aging regimes in the region. Organically farmed, fermented with indigenous yeast in barrel (10% new), with no malolactic fermentation and a 1g/L dosage, the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered. Pear, red plum, black cherry, and fresh bread on the nose give way to a full-bodied, layered palate with chalky minerality, bright acidity, violet florals, and a long, reverberating finish.
