Among the rarest still red wines made in Champagne, this Grand Cru Coteaux Champenois comes from a single south-facing parcel directly below the famous Les Crayères vineyard in Ambonnay, planted in 1960s-era Pinot Noir. The clay-rich soils—unusual in chalk-dominated Ambonnay—retain heat and drive the deeper fruit concentration that makes this site exceptional for still wine. Organically farmed, harvested at yields near Burgundy Grand Cru limits, fermented with indigenous yeasts, and aged 22 months in oak (30% new), then hand-bottled unfined and unfiltered. Expect dark cherry, wild strawberry, dried herbs, forest floor, and fine-grained tannins with a long mineral finish.
