Founded on Keuka Lake's southwestern slopes in 1962, Dr. Konstantin Frank's estate holds the oldest Riesling vines in the Eastern United States—the very plantings that proved vinifera could thrive in upstate New York's cold climate. Now New York Sustainable Winegrowing certified and four generations strong, the winery remains the Finger Lakes' benchmark producer. This Semi-Dry Riesling opens with delicate acacia blossom and lemon citrus before giving way to ripe apricot, nectarine, and a touch of pineapple—residual sugar and bright natural acidity characteristic of Finger Lakes Riesling grown on glacially-deposited shale soils kept in precise balance.
