A honey-finished joven tequila is an unusual category, and Don Julio Alma Miel leans into that deliberately. Distilled from blue Weber agave in Jalisco, it rests for at least 14 months before a secondary finish in Crémant du Limoux barrels — a sparkling wine vessel that deposits a faint sweetness without masking the agave. The result opens with roasted agave and wildflower honey, moves through spiced orchard fruit and caramel, and finishes smooth with a lingering, gentle sweetness.
