Pierre-Yves Colin and Caroline Morey founded their estate in 2001 and have since become one of the Côte de Beaune's defining names for mineral-driven Chardonnay, farming 13 hectares sustainably across five villages with sons Mathis and Clément now in the cellar. La Comme sits on the steep limestone slopes at Santenay's northern edge, bordering Chassagne-Montrachet—a south-facing premier cru whose stony soils yield whites with rare tension for the appellation. Whole-cluster pressed, fermented in 350-liter demi-muids (30% new), aged 15–20 months without bâtonnage, bottled unfiltered under wax. Yellow apple, white blossom, lemon oil, and toasted almond over a chalky, taut mineral spine.
