Pierre-Yves Colin and Caroline Morey founded their domaine in 2001 and have built a reputation as one of the Côte de Beaune's most precise Chardonnay producers, farming sustainably across five villages. La Comme sits on steep limestone slopes at Santenay's northern edge, bordering Chassagne-Montrachet, with south-facing exposure and stony soils that generate real tension for the appellation. Whole-cluster pressed, fermented in 350-liter demi-muids with 30% new oak, aged 15–20 months without bâtonnage, and bottled unfiltered under wax. Yellow apple, lemon oil, and toasted almond over a chalky, taut mineral finish.
