DOMAINE PIERRE-YVES COLIN-MOREY SAINT AUBIN 1ER CRU 'LES CHAMPLOTS' 2023

Pierre-Yves Colin and Caroline Morey founded their domaine in 2001 from inherited family parcels across the Côte de Beaune, farming sustainably across Saint-Aubin, Chassagne, Puligny, Meursault, and Santenay. Les Champlots Premier Cru sits on east-facing clay-limestone slopes at Saint-Aubin's cooler, higher elevations, which push tension and minerality into the Chardonnay. Whole-cluster pressed, fermented in 350-liter demi-muids with 30% new oak, aged 15–20 months without bâtonnage, and bottled unfiltered. Expect lemon pith, white peach, and hazelnut with a chiseled, saline core and crushed flint on the finish.
