From the schist soils of Saint Lambert du Lattay and Saint Aubin de Luigné in the heart of Anjou's Coteaux du Layon, the organically certified (Ecocert) Domaine Ogereau L'Enjouée Rouge showcases the limestone-rich terroir that has defined the Ogereau family's winemaking since the 1890s. This vibrant blend of Cabernet Franc (55%), Cabernet Sauvignon (15%), Grolleau (15%), and Gamay (15%) delivers an exuberant nose of wild berries and peppery spice. On the palate, the Grolleau contributes floral notes and spice, while Pineau d'Aunis adds peppery length, Gamay provides structure, and the Cabernets offer crisp red fruits and fine-grained texture, culminating in a wine of remarkable freshness and delicate complexity.
