Maxime Cheurlin's 0.4-hectare sustainably farmed holding in Grands Échezeaux draws from two lieux-dits—Les Cruots and Vignes Blanches—where vines exceeding 80 years deliver singular concentration. Thirty percent whole cluster and indigenous yeast fermentation precede aging in 100% new oak, the only wine in the Noellat lineup to receive that treatment, bottled unfined and unfiltered. The 2022 scores 96–98 points (Jasper Morris MW) and 95–97 (Vinous), reflecting the grand cru's trademark combination of silken texture, complex spice, and extraordinary aging potential.
