Organic farming since 1994 sets Vincent Dureuil apart as one of Rully's most meticulous producers, and that standard carries straight through to his Aligoté. This 2023 draws from a single 0.57-hectare east-facing parcel planted in 1985 on chalky clay-limestone soils — the Côte Chalonnaise geology that gives the grape its characteristic cut. Indigenous yeast fermentation leads into 12 months in older barrels, then six months in tank to lock in freshness. Bright lemon zest, green pear, and white flowers deliver a saline, mouthwatering finish built for oysters.
