Sourced from five practicing organic village-level parcels downslope from Cazatiers and Champeaux in Gevrey-Chambertin's northern section—En Motrot, Au Velle, Combe du Dessus, En Champs, and En Derée—this cuvée draws from 60-plus-year-old vines vinified with 33% whole cluster and indigenous yeasts. Arnaud Mortet ages the wine 18 months using only 25% new oak, bottling unfined and unfiltered. The 2023 shows raspberry, crushed strawberry, rose petal, and white pepper with a sharp, angular entry, polished tannins, and a long spiced finish. 92–94 points, Jasper Morris MW.
