Arnaud Mortet's 0.32-hectare practicing organic parcel in the Montiotes Basses section of Clos de Vougeot is planted to 50-plus-year-old vines harvested with 50% hand-cut whole cluster. Indigenous yeast fermentation precedes aging in barrel at 50% new oak, bottled unfined and unfiltered. The 2022 scores 92–95 points (Jasper Morris MW) and 92–94 (Vinous): dark berry, spice, and structured tannins typical of this grand cru site, with the precision and textural finesse that defines Mortet's approach to Clos de Vougeot.
