When Fabien Moreau reclaimed the family domaine from corporate ownership in 2002, he returned the estate to direct family control for the first time in years — and to the Kimmeridgian limestone and clay soils that make Chablis unlike anywhere else in Burgundy. Those ancient seabed deposits, packed with fossilized oyster shells, drive the chalky tension and saline backbone the appellation is known for. The 2024 is fermented in stainless steel to preserve freshness, delivering green apple, lemon zest, and white pear with a flinty, mineral finish and crisp, focused acidity.
