Marsannay Pinot Noir rarely comes from vines this old — Les Longeroies draws on parcels planted between 1924 and 1980 on east/southeast-facing slopes at 300 meters, where clay-limestone over Premeaux limestone and combe scree delivers real mineral backbone. Bruno Clair farms the 1.37-hectare site organically without certification, using natural compost and no herbicides. Vinification runs 30–50% whole bunches through 10–15 days maceration in wooden vats, followed by 18–20 months in oak with roughly 25% new. Expect red cherry, raspberry, and bitter pit fruit with powdery tannins and a compact, persistent finish.
