Domaine Barat, a five-generation family estate in Milly run by siblings Angèle and Ludovic Barat, farms its south-facing parcels organically, eliminating herbicides and relying on green pruning to manage canopy. The 2023 Chardonnay delivers green apple, citrus, and a flinty mineral spine, with steely acidity carrying through to a chalky, saline finish.
