Domaine Armand Rousseau blends fruit from 10 Gevrey-Chambertin parcels for this 2022 village bottling, including Les Crais, Creux Brouillard, Clos Prieur Bas, En Champs, Les Cercueils, and declassified Premier Cru grapes from Perrières, Les Etournelles, and Les Craipillots. The vineyards span elevations from 240 to 380 meters across 359 hectares, benefiting from the Combe Lavaux's mineral contribution and gravel-rich soils that provide excellent drainage. Fourth-generation winemaker Cyrielle Rousseau employs traditional fermentation methods unchanged since 1909, producing a red that captures Gevrey's breadth and complexity.
