One of Burgundy's oldest continuously operating domaines, Parent has cultivated Pommard vines since the 17th century, with the estate now centered on premier cru holdings across the appellation. Les Epenots blends fruit from Petit and Grand Epenots parcels — co-fermented from the start rather than vinified separately — on clay-limestone soils that lend Pommard its characteristic structure. The 2021 was aged in 40% new oak, and delivers mineral-inflected red berry fruit, a granular texture, and a savory finish with a faint iodine note.
