DOM PARENT LADOIX 1ER CRU LA CORVEE 2021

La Corvée sits at the northern edge of the Côte de Beaune — geologically at the boundary with the Côte de Nuits — on a south-facing midslope above the village of Buisson, its Comblanchien limestone subsoil visible from the working quarry directly above the vines. Domaine Parent, certified organic since 2013 and farming biodynamically, holds a plot here with vines around 40–45 years old. Grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed, and cold-macerated before fermenting with native yeasts; the wine then ages 14 months in French oak. The 2021 opens with peony and iris, turns to crunchy red fruit mid-palate, and finishes with blood orange and citrus snap.
