DOM LEFLAIVE BOURGOGNE BLANC 2020

Puligny-Montrachet's calcareous clay soils are among Burgundy's most scrutinized, and Domaine Leflaive — farming biodynamically since 1996 — draws village-level Chardonnay from these same slopes for their Bourgogne Blanc. The 2020 is fermented in oak barrels, then aged 12 months in cask followed by 6 months in tank, with very light filtering and homeopathic fining to preserve soil character. The result is a structured, mid-weight Chardonnay with ripe apple, buttery vanilla, and a clean mineral thread through the finish.
