Le Limozin is named after a stream that once ran through this tightly bounded lieu-dit, wedged between Premier Crus Les Genevrières, Les Charmes, and Les Porusots on Meursault's southeast-facing slope. Clay-limestone soils over Jurassic limestone scree consistently produce wines that punch well above their village classification — widely referred to as a Premier Cru in everything but name. Mikulski's organically farmed 0.15-hectare parcel holds 65+-year-old Chardonnay, fermented with ambient yeasts and aged in barrel (20% new). Expect pear, citrus oil, white flowers, and hazelnut with a broad, mineral-laced palate and a long, creamy finish.
