Mikulski has farmed this 0.66-hectare parcel in Meursault's Les Charmes Premier Cru on a sharecropping basis since 1992, producing roughly 3,700 bottles annually from 50+-year-old Chardonnay vines. Les Charmes sits on the lower slope of the Côte d'Or at Meursault's southern end, where heavier clay-limestone soils over a Jurassic limestone rock-plate subsoil yield Meursault's most sensual, full-bodied style. Organically farmed, fermented with indigenous yeasts, and aged in barrel (17% new). Mirabelle honey, mimosa, white flowers, and bergamot on the nose; poached white fruits, grilled hazelnuts, and white chocolate on the palate with a long, spice-laced finish.
