DOMAINE FRANCOIS MIKULSKI BOURGOGNE COTE D'OR BLANC 2023

Mikulski's Bourgogne Côte d'Or Blanc is drawn from four organically farmed plots within the village of Meursault itself, where the same clay-limestone soils that underpin the appellation's Premier Crus give even village-level fruit notable texture and minerality. The 25+-year-old Chardonnay vines are fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in a combination of 228L barrels (10% new) and tank, a split that preserves the freshness of the fruit while adding gentle structure. Expect white peach, citrus, hazelnut, and white flowers on the nose, with a round, approachable palate and the clean, mineral finish characteristic of Meursault-grown Chardonnay.
