DOMAINE FRANCOIS MIKULSKI BEAUNE BLANC 1ER CRU 'SUR LES GREVES' 2023

François Mikulski founded his Meursault-based domaine in 1992 after inheriting plots from his uncle Pierre Boillot, and has since expanded into some of Beaune's finest Premier Cru land. "Sur les Grèves" sits directly above the celebrated Grèves and Les Teurons Premier Crus on the mid-slope of the Côte d'Or, where gravelly clay-limestone soils with fine scree and sand deliver exceptional drainage and natural concentration. Organically farmed 25+-year-old Chardonnay is fermented with ambient yeasts and aged in barrel (15% new). Expect mirabelle plum, apricot, white flowers, and toasted hazelnut with a full, richly textured palate and bright limestone-driven acidity.
