Rather than blending from generic village-level fruit, Arlaud's certified biodynamic Morey-Saint-Denis is drawn entirely from two lieux-dits — En Seuvrées and Clos Solon — that many top producers bottle as standalone cuvées. The clay-limestone soils of Morey-Saint-Denis, one of the Côte de Nuits' smallest appellations with five Grand Crus and 20 Premier Crus, underpin 45+-year-old Pinot Noir farmed with horses and minimal intervention. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Tender red fruit, dried flowers, earth, and subtle spice on the nose; elegant and fine-textured on the palate with the characteristic silky weight of Morey and a clean, mineral finish.
