CLIFF LEDE CABERNET SAUVIGNON NAPA VALLEY 2021

Cliff Lede established his namesake winery in 2002 after acquiring 60 acres in Napa Valley's Stags Leap District, where the valley floor's gravelly-loam soils and the steep Poetry Vineyard's volcanic soils over fractured shale deliver the structured minerality that defines this AVA. Viticulturist David Abreu replanted the estate into precision blocks named after rock songs, with each section matched to specific soil types and sun exposure for optimal Cabernet Sauvignon expression. This 2021 Napa Valley bottling at 14.2% ABV opens with dark chocolate and black cherry, followed by graphite, crushed mulberries, cassis, blackberry, and blueberry layered with jasmine and violet notes, finishing with polished tannins that reflect the region's signature elegance.
