CLARICE PN ROSELLA'S VYD 2019

Rosella's Vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands sits at elevations that push 2,200 feet, where cold Pacific air off Monterey Bay keeps ripening slow and acidity intact — conditions that drew Clarice Wine Company to this site. For the 2019, fruit from the Pommard clone and Pisoni Selection blocks was harvested together on September 21st, with 66.9% retained as whole clusters placed at the tank bottom. Spontaneous fermentation began after roughly nine days; the wine drained directly to barrel at completion, with only 62.5% of barrels making the final cut. Expect dark cherry, dried herb, and firm but fine-grained tannins.
