CHATEAU PETIT FREYLON CUVEE MICHAEL BORDEAUX 2019

Thermo-vinification — a technique that uses controlled heat to accelerate color and tannin extraction before fermentation — is part of the modernized approach at Château Petit-Freylon, a small estate in Saint Genis-du-Bois, roughly 35 kilometers southeast of Bordeaux city. La Société PESA acquired the property in 2011, retaining the Lagrange family's vineyard manager and bringing in oenologist Grégory Dalla Longa. The 2019 Cuvée Michael blends Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, delivering ripe blackberry and plum up front, structured tannins through the mid-palate, and balanced acidity on the finish.
