CHATEAU LA VIEILLE CURE LA SACRISTIE DE LA VIELLE CURE 2013

Château La Vieille Cure farms organically across a single twenty-hectare plot on Fronsac's limestone plateau, where chalk and clay slopes border the vineyard — one of the Right Bank's benchmark estates. La Sacristie, the château's second label, blends 74% Merlot, 22% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Cabernet Sauvignon from 30-year-old, hand-harvested vines fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged 18 months in French oak (30% new). This 2013 shows ripe blackcurrant, dried plum, and cedar with limestone-driven freshness and fine-grained tannins built for further cellaring.
