Black cherry, violet, and cassis open the glass with a cedar undercurrent, then velvety tannins carry the mid-palate into a clean, persistent finish with real freshness. BriO is the second wine of Château Cantenac Brown, a 1855 Third Growth, drawn from specific Margaux parcels across 34 hectares of Cantenac plateau gravel. Old vines approaching 60 years drive concentration and structure, while the deliberate choice to use less new oak than the Grand Vin keeps the fruit legible and the whole thing drinking younger.
