CHANDON BRUT

Domaine Chandon planted its California outpost in Yountville in 1973, and this Brut draws Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier from cool-climate Northern California appellations, picked at night to preserve acidity. The blend runs 73% Chardonnay, 26% Pinot Noir, and 1% Meunier, made méthode traditionnelle with a minimum of twelve months on the lees for creamy depth. Intense, fresh fruit leads with green apple, citrus, and pear, layered with almond and white flowers. The finish is soft and dry, with a fine, energetic mousse.
