Since 1734, Taittinger has distinguished itself among Champagne's few remaining family-owned houses through extensive vineyard holdings across 712 acres of Grand Cru sites in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims, where chalky limestone soils and cool continental climate create ideal conditions for their signature Chardonnay-focused blends. Founded by Pierre Taittinger in 1930 and now led by his great-grandchildren Vitalie and Clovis, the house plants 37% Chardonnay versus Champagne's 27% average, aging wines well beyond legal minimums in historic 13th-century chalk cellars 17 meters beneath Reims. This Brut Prestige Rosé balances Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier into a brilliant pink wine delivering wild raspberry, cherry, and blackcurrant aromatics, with a velvet-textured palate of crisp red fruits that's simultaneously lively, fresh, and elegant at 12% ABV.
