From a single certified organic parcel in the premier cru village of Taissy—the lieu-dit Les Dessus de Monthouzons, planted in 1963—Antoine and Quentin Paillard produce this rare 100% Meunier Blanc de Noirs, barrel-fermented on indigenous yeasts and aged 48 months on the lees before disgorgement at 3g/L dosage. Taissy's chalk-driven soils lend the wine its signature mineral precision, while the 60-plus-year-old vines deliver uncommon depth for the variety. The 2020 scores 95+ points (Jeb Dunnuck): petrichor, dried peach, grapefruit oil, and dried citrus on the nose, with ripe strawberry, black cherry, and salty earth on a full-bodied, refined finish.
