CHAMPAGNE DOMAINE VINCEY 'LE GRAND JARDIN BLANC DE BLANCS' OGER GRAND CRU BRUT NATURE 2020

Domaine Vincey's 'Le Grand Jardin' comes from a single lieu-dit in Oger Grand Cru planted in 1967 to massale-selection Chardonnay. The southeast-facing slope sits on 80 centimeters of brown clay over chalk, a profile that adds texture uncommon in the Côte des Blancs. Quentin and Marine Vincey press without sulfur, ferment on ambient yeasts in barrel — 20% new, local wood — with full malolactic fermentation, age 36 months on the lees, and disgorge at zero dosage with no added SO2, unfined and unfiltered. Expect fresh peach, apricot, preserved lemon, and a fine, spicy mousse.
