Since 2005, John Raytek's Ceritas Wines has crafted northern California coastal expressions through organic farming partnerships. This 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Mariana's Vineyard in Santa Cruz Mountains, where the Radonich family planted Clone 4 vines in 2015 at 1,660 feet elevation on sandstone soils surrounding their home, with Bill Brousseau applying garden-scale, certified organic viticulture. Native yeast fermentation in concrete vessels precedes 36 months in 500-liter French oak demi-muids (50% new), yielding 13.0% alcohol with lifted red fruit, mountain herb, sandstone minerality, and elegant structure that reflects the site's gentle slope and meticulous farming.
